PREPARING THE WAY OF THE LORD

Isaiah 40:3 "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God." This is a verse that prophesied John the Baptist and His ministry of calling people to repentance; His prophecy was not a road project; but to prepare people's hearts!  (refer to John 14:6 "The Way"). As believers & lovers of Yeshua, we are familiar with the concept of "preparing the way of the Lord'. God's perspective toward us is for us "to see" something about our self  that we don't normally see or are open to. Why is this?  God wants us to trust Him, and crisis helps us to grow up, to mature through the difficulty. The pressures we experience helps us to lean on God, to be open to the changes He wants to bring to our lives. Without crisis we could not grow; we would become stagnant & weak. These seasons of trials, temptations & tribulation can be more than
