FOR WE BEING MANY ARE ONE BREAD, AND ONE BODY; FOR WE ARE ALL PARTAKERS OF THAT ONE BREAD. 1 CORINTHIANS 10:17 The night Jesus was betrayed, He took bread and He broke it. He gave a piece to each disciple but when you put the pieces together, it still makes one loaf. Likewise, we are all members of the one body because we are all partakers of that one bread. Christ is NOT divided and we are all members of the one body!!! The bread we eat is no different than anyone else's and the cup is the same blood. When we take communion let's remember the others in the body of Christ. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall inherit the kingdom of heaven(the 1000 year reign of Jesus on earth). Let's start working together for the unity of the faith. When you take communion today, pray for the unity of the body of Christ...Amen?
In John 6:48-51 it reads in The Passion , "I AM the true Bread of Life. Your ancestors ate manna in the desert and died. But standing here before you is the true Bread that comes out of heaven, and when you eat this Bread you will never die. I alone am this living Bread that has come to you from heaven. Eat this Bread and you will live forever. The living Bread I give is my body, which I will offer as a sacrifice so that all may live." There is a difference between eternal life and living forever. The only reason I would die is if there is a record of sin in my DNA. I do not need to die, none of us do. But we need to undergo transformation by applying the body and blood of Jesus. The body and blood of Jesus carry the record of the DNA of God. We can age and die, or we can take the body and blood of Jesus within ourselves, and live forever!. Jesus says in John 6:58, "I am not like the bread your ancestors ate and later died. I am the living Bread that comes from heaven.
