The Bible teaches us "God is love,"(1John 4:16) which is the deepest part of His character. Yet it also shows that He is a just God who is to be feared! In Exodus 34:6-7, which has come to be known as the Disposition of Christ: "And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no way clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and fourth generation." This scripture shows us the God who is love, acts in love, also deals with sin. Notice the mercy in the word 'visits' the third and fourth generations! This kind of love, God's kind of love and forgiveness, has got to be released in the world! The key is made manifest by the transforming work of Yeshua in our lives, by the power of Holy Spirit enabling us to truly love!!! What the world needs now... is LOVE, a love that heals and makes us whole. Let our prayer together be, Pappa fill our shadows full of how You love so that we overflow into a dying, decaying world that desperately needs YOU!!! in the name of Yeshua, amen.
In John 6:48-51 it reads in The Passion , "I AM the true Bread of Life. Your ancestors ate manna in the desert and died. But standing here before you is the true Bread that comes out of heaven, and when you eat this Bread you will never die. I alone am this living Bread that has come to you from heaven. Eat this Bread and you will live forever. The living Bread I give is my body, which I will offer as a sacrifice so that all may live." There is a difference between eternal life and living forever. The only reason I would die is if there is a record of sin in my DNA. I do not need to die, none of us do. But we need to undergo transformation by applying the body and blood of Jesus. The body and blood of Jesus carry the record of the DNA of God. We can age and die, or we can take the body and blood of Jesus within ourselves, and live forever!. Jesus says in John 6:58, "I am not like the bread your ancestors ate and later died. I am the living Bread that comes from heaven.
